With so many different combinations of florals and ceremony sites, it can be difficult to narrow down your vision for your big day. We talked to our in-house florist about some of her favorite ways to incorporate florals into your wedding. Read more for inspiration, tips, and quotes from Cindy from Pluma Blanca Floral!

For the Wedding Party

“Bridal party florals typically consist of bouquets, or hoops with flowers, floral crowns, boutonnières, and corsages.”

Your florist can help you get creative with the florals for your bridal party! For those looking to go the traditional route, gorgeous bridesmaid bouquets can double as centerpieces during the reception. For a bit of creative flair, try incorporating hoops, floral crowns, and succulents into your bridal party floral. Some brides even incorporate florals into their updo.

Riverfront Floral

“At the riverfront ceremony site, I have installed hanging floral curtains, flower-decorated hula hoops, branches with floral touches, as well as hanging baskets.”

Despite the need for free-standing structures, you can still get creative with the florals at your riverfront ceremony! Florals can be draped over hoops, arches, and even the chairs where your guests will witness the ceremony. Florals at the entrance of the ceremony can add a dramatic touch and set the scene for a day filled with love and laughter.

The Open-Air Chapel

“In the Open-Air Chapel, there are four hanging screens and prisms available for floral additions. The center of the screens is a perfect spot for a large hanging centerpiece or hula hoops.”

The Open-Air Chapel is filled with possibility, with a variety of structures to place florals and decor. It can be used as a ceremony or a reception site and comes with plenty of hangings to outfit with flowers. Ceremonies can take place in front or inside of the chapel, allowing you to customize the space to your heart’s desire. Hanging florals are a fantastic way to leave your guests with a feeling of wonder and excitement as you embark on your new journey!

The Riverfront Pavilion

The Riverfront Pavilion is the only site that comes complete with an arch of its own, with a view of the beautiful Blanco River. This space’s natural beauty can be customized easily with shelves along the arch, perfect for florals or other important keepsakes you would like in your wedding photos. Florists can also use hoops, wreaths, and garlands to add a pop of color to the wooden frame of the pavilion. For large weddings, this space is a great alternative to the Open-Air Chapel!

The Pecan Grove

“Full, flowing garlands, hanging material and hanging lanterns are just a few ideas on how to decorate this area”

Use florals to transform the Pecan Grove into an enchanted forest, with plenty of opportunities for full-length, flowing garlands, lanterns, and other ambient lighting. This setting is the perfect location for couples who want a natural setting, and the beautiful greenery makes bright-colored floral pop! The Pecan Grove is the perfect location to make your fairytale dream come to life.

For the Reception

“We can’t forget flowers for the cake to complete the look!”

At the reception, florals take center stage in the form of garlands and centerpieces, hanging arrangements, updo embellishments, cake toppers, and more! The sky is the limit as you plan the floral for your reception. Immerse your guests in enchanted luxury as they dine and celebrate among a gorgeous array of greenery. Use florals along the bar for a fairytale cocktail setup, or around your sign-in table to enchant guests as they arrive. All kinds of flowers, succulents, fruits, and other greenery can be used to create your dream display. Anything goes, and your florist will help execute your vision to perfection!
